We like to be as clear and transparent as we can at Blackthorne B.V. That is why we make our returns policy visible on every product page as well as in the footer of our website. Clear policies are essential to ensuring mutual understanding and hopefully a satisfied customer.
Whilst we like to think our customers are happy with the products and services provided from our site, we do understand that sometimes, things can go a little off course. Therefore, we have detailed below what is eligible for a refund and the process for a refund or exchange.
Refund Policy for Tank Storage Services
In the event that a buyer engages in a transaction with a seller and leases our tank storage facilities, but it is subsequently confirmed that there is no product in the tank, we shall assume full responsibility and promptly refund all fees paid for the tank.
Furthermore, where a buyer submits documents received from their seller for our endorsement such documents including, but not limited to, the Authorization to Verify (ATV), Dip Test Authorization (DTA), Inspection Letter, Tank-to-Tank Injection Agreement (TTTIA), or Tank-to-Vessel Injection Agreement (TTVIA) and either the buyer or seller elects not to proceed with the transaction, the tank lease fee shall be refunded within 48 hours.
Due to the size and weight of the items that we sell on our site, returns can be expensive. Before purchasing, please ensure the product you order is the correct size & suitable for your specific use. Refunds are applicable under the following conditions: Clients are eligible for a refund if the storage tanks are left completely unused, meaning they must be “clean and empty” without any petroleum products having been pumped.
Please contact us through info@blackthornebv.eu with your order number, contact information, product(s) & reason for return. A member of the team will reply within 1 working day.
PLEASE NOTE – Returns are not accepted at our registered address. Once you have completed the returns form and a return has been agreed, you will be sent the forwarding information for the item.
Once verification is complete and the unused status is confirmed, refunds will be processed. Refunds will be issued through the original payment method or an agreed alternative.
Refunds will be processed within 48 hours of the validated request. Clients will be notified once the refund has been completed.
Terms and Conditions
Partial Refunds: If storage tanks have been partially used, refunds will be calculated based on the proportion of unused capacity.
Contractual Obligations: Clients must adhere to any minimum storage duration or contractual conditions outlined in the service agreement, which may affect refund eligibility.
Administrative Fees: A processing fee may apply to refund requests. Clients will be informed of any applicable fees during the refund request process.
